Experience over seven hours of B.K.S Iyengar teaching at the Yoga '93 Convention in Ann Arbor, Michigan. If you have some experience, you can practice along with the intermediate level yoga classes. B.K.S. Iyengar teaches more than 500 students in three historic “mega” classes. With intensely detailed asana instruction, Iyengar highlights the legs in Standing Poses, and works towards Inversions and a Backbend.
Iyengar includes students with therapeutic needs as he teaches to enable all to participate.
DVD 1 Class 1 – Tadasana & Trikonasa - 120 minutes. A 2-hour class that systematically works from the toes and balls of the feet up the legs to “enlighten” the way you stand.
DVD 2 Class 2, Part 1 – Six Standing Poses - 90 minutes. Tadasana (mountain pose), Trikonasana (triangle pose), Uttanasana (standing forward bend), Parsvakonasana (side stretch lunge), and Virabhadrasanas 1 & 2 (warrior poses 1 & 2).
DVD 3 Class 2, Part 2 – 3 Standing Poses, Shoulder Stand & Plow - 68 minutes. Ardha Chandrasana, Parsvottanasana, Prasarita Padottanasana, Sarvangasana & Halasana (shoulder stand & plow).
DVD 4 Class 3, Part 1 - 12 Standing Poses - 90 minutes.
